Latthe Education Society was established on 13th jun 1951. In order to duly honour late Annasaheb Latthe. This Society was established by fund collected form “Dakshin Bharat Jain Sabha”. Annasaheb Latthe had Shoulder multiple responsibilities as Diwan of Kolhapur State. First finance Minister of Bombay provision, councilor, Professor, Editor & Educationalist.

Institutre is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore & has the approval from Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi.

The institute offers bachelor degree course in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S). The total intake for BAMS is limited to 50.

ABOUT INSTITUTE:

Latthe Education Society’s was established on 13th jun 1951.In order to duly honor late Annasaheb latthe. This   Society was established by fund collected form Dakshin Bharat Jain Sabha. Annasaheb Latthe had Shoulder multiple responsibilities as Diwan of Kolhapur State. First finance Minister of Bombay provision, councilor, Professor, Editor & Educationalist. The head Quarter at Sangli. The Society has grown tremendously & Now it is running as many as 34 educational institution, including Kindergartens, primary schools. High school, College & Profenational institution.

All the staff is appointed according to the norms laid down by C.C.I.M. and AYUSH Government of India. With respective specialties in post-graduation.Each department is having its own independent setup with spacious Rooms like Demonstration room, museum and concerned staff Room.

Every department is having subject related digital charts, models and specimens. College is having separate Audio Visual Room with over head projector, L.C.D. and Computers.

Academic Activities are carried out according to university norms like study tours visit to factory, labs, pharmacies, sports and other compititions.        Hospital is having its separate wing of well equipped lab for diagnosing various diseases. It is having well running out patient dept. and in patient dept. with all necessary facilities. Clinical departments are actively involved in various social activities like conducting medical diagnostic camps and surveys in surrounding villages. Also Seminars on health awareness.
