With an intention to serve the needy ailing people of the society and to promote the proven ancient Indian system of medicine, Ayurveda, Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Dharwad, established Ayurvedic Medical college and hospital in the name of late Shri C.B.Guttal. Shri C.B.Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Dharwad got permissions of Government of Karnataka and Department of Ayush, New delhi to provide the BAMS(Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course in the year 2004, with an intake capacity of 50 students per year.
Shri C.B.Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital along with an Herbal garden is operational on a exclusive 14 acres campus. The campus is conveniently located on Pune-Bangalore national Highway (NH4) at Garag cross in Mummigatti, Dharwad.
