The institution was started in the name of late Shree Sidramappa Shasappa Danigond who was pioneer of the education in the region of in and around the Terdal. Walking in the pathway, laid down by the father, the son Dr. M.S. Danigond the well-known surgeon, pediatrician and educationist dreamt of bringing up the Ayurvedic education to rejuvenate the miraculous treatment of the Ayurvedic remedies to the very people of ours in the rural areas. Being the practicing surgeon, pediatrician and physician in Rural areas since last 25 years, Dr. M.S. Danigond could feel the need of the hour and people.
