Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Ayurvedic Medical College, Gadag was established in 1992. The college is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. ABOUT INSTITUTE:

In the year 1992 Bagamar Seva Samiti has started Ayurvedic Medical College, in the name of Lord Bhagawan Mahaveer.The Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain Ayurvedic Medical College is established with intention to provide higher education in the Ayurved faculty, which is very popular in vedic era and also nowadays it become popular word wide. The College Hospital is serving society with service like free weekly health camp in surrounding villages, free eye operation every year, donation of Jaypur legs who have lost their legs.etc.

The institute is situated in calm corner of outskirt of the city. A well established library containing more than 11,000 books on different subjects, a rich specimen herbal garden sprawling over about 3 acres of land and separate hostel for boy’s and girl with required facilities. All the facilities for indoor as well as out-door games have also been provided.

The institute is having 200 bedded full flagged Hospital equipped with all facilities like modern Operation theater, Labor room, X-Ray, ECG, Scanning facility etc. The hospital provides excellent medical facilities by holistic approach. Patients coming here get Ayurveda and modern treatments from experts in the concerned field. The undergraduates, internees and post graduate students get a good amount of exposure by practical training in medical and surgical aspects along with Panchakarma therapies, Ksharasutra therapies, etc. thousands of patients have got benefits from the special treatments of Ayurveda in our hospital. “Swarna Prasana” Camps for small childrens are regularly conducted.

The college is having well equipped all 14 departments as per CCIM norms with all laboratory, instruments, equipments, models and charts for teaching to the students. All necessary additional facilities have been provided for PG Courses.

More than 51 Staff including visiting teaching faculty members ranging from lecturers to professors specialized in different subjects of Ayurveda are rendering highly committed professional teaching for both under graduate and post graduate students.
