Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College specializes in Ayurvedic education, research and health services with an approach and reference to latest developments in scientific field, for the purpose of education, research and health care in the field of Ayurvedic Sciences.The college is approved by Government of Karnataka & Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Dehi.
The college is equipped with well furnished own building, museums, laboratories, class rooms, audio-visual aids and library.A well established Pharmacy with Research and development facilities, producing Ayurvedic Medicines for both educational and commercial purposes is situated at Baikampady Industrial Area, Mangalore.
A herbal garden spreaded over 5 acres of land abound with more than 500 species of Medicinal Plants, Nakshatra vana & Pooja vana. The five and half years course Ayurvedacharya or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is being conducted and the degree is awarded for the students here.
